Motorola is just about ready to begin accepting pre-orders in the US for its Moto X Pure Edition. The pre-orders will officially kick-off on September 2, with the phone shipping later this month. For those not familiar, the Moto X Pure Edition is the US version of the Moto X Style, this year's replacement for the Moto X 2014.
Featuring a 5.7-inch display, the Moto X Pure Edition is powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB of RAM, and comes with 16, 32, 64GB of internal storage, with the option to be expanded through a microSD card. As for the camera, Motorola has packed a 21MP shooter on the back, which is said to be much improved over the 2014 model. Powering the phone is a 3,000mAh battery that Motorola estimates to yield around 30 hours of battery life.
Starting September 2, you will be able to pre-order your custom configuration of the Moto X Pure Edition in the US from Motorola's Moto Maker, with prices beginning at $399.
