The LG Optimus 3D is coming to AT&T, bringing what may once again be the nation's largest carrier its first 3D Android smartphone. The Thrill, for all intents and purposes, is just as we saw it a month ago at Mobile World Congress. You've got the 4.3-inch stereoscopic touchscreen, a special section on the phone for the 3D apps, and it's all powered by that a dual-core TI OMAP 4 processor.

More 3D-enabled apps, including Let's Golf, are in the works. Take a gander at more pics and hands-on video, after the break, and do keep in mind that the software's not yet final.

For ATT, sure...

I like how the only thing they can demo or "like" to demo is Lets Golf2

If you check out other peoples (Engadget) hands-on, their little hands on experience was rocky, to say the least.

Is the AT&T version going to have the FF camera?

Is LG known for locked bootloaders in the same fashion as Moto?

From the looks in the T-Mobile spec sheet this device is coming thru with both T-Mobile and AT&T's radio frequency. There was quite a long discussion going on over on the TMO News web site and the leading thought was that the phone did have both networks radio frequency on it.That would be outstanding news and would love to get some real answers from someone who knows the facts.
PS Wrong device, I am talking about the T-Mobile LG.

I don't wanna be a hater, but, that UI rivals touchwiz as being the most ugly. Look at those status bar icons. Who gave the designer a box of crayons? Battery is as big as a widget..

Ok, rant aside.. LG looks like they want to become a major player in the Android game, and have started really nicely. I just wish every company didn't feel the need to overly change Vanilla Android.. they are becoming more and more hideous ..

where can i get the time and weather widget?
i see it says accuweather, but i cant seem to find that widget displayed?

I like the G2x more. This has 3d which I don't want, the build isn't as nice, and it isn't stock android. Wasn't it the LG UI that was having some issues with force closes and lag?

i'm with you about not wanting 3D on my phone... hell, the thunderbolt just came out and the battery in it can barely handle it as it is... i wish this 3D fad would go away already...

Im slightly more excited for the T-Mobile version because the 3D isn't that important to me. Also the T-Mobile version has frequency's for ATT as well and best of all is stock Android.

I consider myself on training wheels when it comes to Android and its devices, but what do you mean about stock Android?

I like how the AT&T guy was acting like it was a big deal for a phone to have WVGA resolution. It's the bare minimum for a 4.3" device.

On the other hand, that's a mighty nice weather widget.
