  • I love how it works without waking the phone first. Glad that step is not required anymore.
  • How to set up the finger scanner....put a good case on your note 8 ....done finger will hit it every time
  • Zero interest in the fingerprint scanner on my Note 8... In my opinion it's the most needless tech on a phone. But I must say, I'm missing the bottom home button. Yes, you can turn it on permanently, a simple double tap on far left.... but still in many instances it's an extra swipe to active home back, etc...
  • You don't have to bring up the navigation bar to return to the home screen. Just press a little harder on the screen where the home button would be. Works like a charm!
  • TY. I just leave it on, locked... Unless I'm reading a book. Most games will kill it even if it is locked on.
  • I hate the location of the fingerprint scanner. I do love the Iris scanner and use it instead to unlock phone and for passwords. You can set it up for one or two eyes. I only use one eye which makes it easy to get it lined up. There are even templates to chose from that pop up so you know where to look so it can scan your iris.
  • Gotta love that super fast iris scanner
