As part of its week-long anniversary celebrations in India, Xiaomi has reduced the price of the 64GB variant of the Mi 4 to ₹17,999 ($283), valid for 24 hours on Flipkart. The Chinese manufacturer decreased the price of the 64GB model from its launch price of ₹23,999 ($377) to ₹19,999 ($314) over the course of the last two months, with today's deal lowering that price even further.
With MIUI 6 approaching a year since its debut, it looks like Xiaomi is looking to introduce Android 5.1-based MIUI 7 on August 16. Not much is known about the new features that will make their way into the upcoming version of MIUI, but with over 100 million users globally, Xiaomi's offering continues to be one of the most popular custom ROMs available today. We should have more information about MIUI 7 over the coming weeks.
