Samsung opens third factory for Galaxy S6 edge production

According to new reports, Samsung has opened a third production facility that will allow them to double production capacity of Galaxy S6 edge screens. Samsung had predicted record sales of the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, and they reportedly had planned the launch of this third facility in June. With the demand being so high, Samsung has decided to open the location now, and began producing more displays.

Samsung was previously able to produce around two million screens per month at their other two production locations, and they hope to be around five million per month with the addition of the third.
