NVIDIA Shield Tablet with Lollipop

As promised, NVIDIA has now released its over-the-air update for its Shield Tablet that brings the magic of Android 5.0 Lollipop to the 8-inch device. It's also one of the the first non Nexus-branded Android producs to receive the Lollipop upgrade.

Besides Android 5.0, the update also brings some extra features to NVIDIA's own apps. The Dabbler drawing app now supports layers, custom color creation and stencils and any drawings made in the app can now be quickly uploaded to a Google Drive account.

The tablet's Shield Hub app is also available with this update, which will allow the tablet's owners to try out Grid, a new streaming service that will let users access and play full versions of over 20 games for the PC on the Shield tablet.
