The new Moto X is now available for customers of U.S. Cellular. The phone, which is pretty much our new favorite launched last month on AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, as well as unlocked direct from Motorola. The launch on U.S. Cellular follows the same pricing — $99.99 for the black model on a two-year contract.
If you happen to want a U.S. Cellular Moto X with a black leather or bamboo back, you'll be waiting until later in October, and paying an extra $50 for the privilege of a phone adorned with natural materials.
Unlike the smaller previous-generation Moto X, the new Moto X sports a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display, with a beating heart of a powerful quad-core 2.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor backed up by 2GB of RAM. The camera's also seen a marked improvement, jumping up to a 13-megapixel sensor supporting 4K video with an ƒ/2.25 lens and a dual-LED ring flash.
The Moto X is the most powerful phone Motorola's ever made, and now it's available on U.S. Cellular. Question is, who wants one?
