Russian Motorola Milestone's keyboard makes the Droid's look usable

Phil Nickinson News Wednesday, 17 March 2010

Russian is a hard language to learn. I know -- I took years of it and can still order the vodka but keep forgetting how to ask for the loo. Anyhoo, above is the Russian version of the Motorola Milestone. Now the Milestone (aka Droid in the U.S.) doesn't exactly have the world's best keyboard to begin...

Jared DiPane News Saturday, 13 March 2010

It's finally time for all you Telus Milestone owners to finally have root access on your device! Over at AllDroid they have compiled instructions based from the knowledge and information of many different developers and hackers within the Android community. While the rooting for this device, which includes having to flash to a Brazilian .sbf file, is a bit more intricate then many of the other devices at least it is a start. It doesn't appear the kernel is yet available, but beggars can't be choosers, can they?

Keep in mind, this...

Casey Chan News Wednesday, 13 January 2010

We've already known that the Motorola Milestone (the GSM version of the Droid) would be available to our neighbors to the north on Telus for quite some time. However, we only knew it was coming in 'early 2010' but now there are some reports floating around pegging the official date as January 26th. Considering that the Nexus One is on everybody's mind (but not...

European Nexus One Will Have Multitouch ?

Casey Chan News Thursday, 07 January 2010

This is getting quite ridiculous Google. Word on the street is that the European Nexus One will have multitouch--yes the feature that we have begged and begged for since Android launched to no avail. The Nexus One on Germany's Heise has already been shown off with the wonderful pinch to zoom and gestures and we can probably assume Vodafone's Nexus One will have the same.

DROID Headed to Germany, Called Motorola Milestone & Has Multitouch

Casey Chan News Monday, 02 November 2009

As the world watched the DROID get its official treatment from Verizon, it cringed a little bit. Why? Because Verizon is a CDMA network while most of the rest of the world run GSM networks (like T-Mobile & AT&T). Meaning the Verizon DROID as we knew it, wouldn't be too useful outside of the US. Luckily, there is a GSM Version of the Motorola...
