Here's a few pictures of the Samsung Intercept (SPH-M910), another new Sammy to be released on the Sprint network (rumors say July 11). Supposedly the replacement for the Samsung Moment, and after seeing these pics I have to agree. Should be shipping with Eclair (Android 2.1) and a 3.2 inch touchscreen, but not many of the other details can be confirmed. We should know more after tonight's big Samsung event in New York, which we're covering live tonight at 6 PM EST.
What we can be sure of, is that the 4 row QWERTY with trackpad should appeal to people who need the physical keys, but need something a little smaller than the new breed of 4 inch plus superphones. And it comes in pink. Hit the break to see another pic showing a bit better detail of the QWERTY.

Do we know the specs for this device? It definitely looks like more of a mid-market phone.
I hope its at least 800mhz. My sister would love to replace her Instinct.
Oh shit. It's pink. It's no Evo though. So I'll pass. If the epic came in pink, I might consider it.
Why is Samsung releasing two QWERTY slider android phones on sprint? I'd be heavily considering the Epic instead of the Evo if it didn't have the keyboard...seems like they could give us this phone for keyboard lovers, and leave the epic to resemble its siblings on the other carriers. That way we have more options.

And I just can't get over the fact that a lot of people are actually gonna buy the pink one just because its pink... I think more people need to look at the specifications of the device before buying it for the color. Remember the pink RAZR... biggest piece of crap out of all other RAZRs...
but the people who are going to buy this because it is pink i dont think they are going to care about its specs...all they want is a pink phone. and my girlfriend has a pink blackberry just because it does emails and it is pink.

no they all dont. samsung moments do not have multitouch. so this (moment 2) better have it. i think this is then phone coming out on july 11 with the moto i1. cant wait.
