We've already taken one look at ASUS' latest round of ZenPad tablets (thanks, Computex!) Now we're getting another look at them here at IFA in Berlin, and this time they've brought some accessories along for the right.
If you're new to the ZenPad (and if you've used either of ASUS's Nexus tablets, particularly the 2013 model), you know ASUS can do some good stuff. And that continues in the ZenPad 7, 8 and 10 models.
Think thin, light and vibrant, with a smattering of ASUS software atop Android 5.0 Lollipop. Expandable storage is there, too.
But really it's the accessories that are the star of the show. The two smaller sizes have removable backs that allow you to not just swap out colors, but also add battery packs, speakers, keyboards and clutches. What's available depends on the size — the 10-inch gets the full keyboard and speaker, for example. The 8-inch has a cool folio case. But the point is there's very much something for everyone.
Again, we've got to wait and see if we'll get these at some point outside of Asia. But let's hope so — there's definitely a lot here to like. And as we've seen a lot of late, ASUS has tapped Intel to power the majority of these tablets. (Some SKUs will see Qualcomm processors still; it varies.)
Let's take a quick look.
