Samsung has commenced sales of the dual-SIM variant of the Galaxy Note 5 in India. The 32GB model — available in gold, black and silver — is listed on the manufacturer's online store for ₹51,400 ($777), and the 64GB version is set to launch shortly for ₹57,400 ($867).

With cellular tariffs varying when moving from one state to another, most buyers look for dual-SIM compatibility when considering a handset, often opting to use one SIM card for data and the other for voice calls. Most high-end phones currently available, including the LG G4 and the Xperia Z5, offer dual-SIM functionality.
