Best Wireless Chargers for Google Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL in 2022

The Pixel 3 and 3 XL were the first devices of the series to support wireless charging, paving the way for the feature to appear on future Pixels. Google took a unique approach to the Pixel 3's wireless charging, however, by only allowing fast charging speeds on explicitly supported models. This dramatically limits your selection for wireless chargers that support the full 10W rate, but if you don't mind stepping down to 5W, there are plenty of other options that'll work just fine.

Want fast wireless charging? Get ready to spend more

While the Pixel 3 and 3 XL both support the universal Qi wireless charging standard, they work a bit differently than other phones. The Pixel 3 will charge on any Qi charger, but unless it's an official Google-approved one, you'll max out at 5W speeds.

If you want the full 10W fast wireless charging goodness with the best experience possible, we recommend splurging for the Google Pixel Stand. Not only does it get you that top speed, but it gives the Pixel 3 some unique features when it's docked — such as showing pictures saved to Google Photos and having the display showcase warm colours before your alarm goes off to help you wake up more peacefully.

Unfortunately, the Pixel Stand isn't cheap. Double, unfortunately, there are hardly any third-party wireless chargers that retain the 10W speed. Your other third-party options include the Belkin Boost Up Pad. It may lack the unique features found on the Pixel Stand, but it does deliver 5W wireless charging for a bit less money. Boasting a sleek design, thoughtful engineering, and Foreign Object Detection, this compact wireless charger will give you and your phone excellent service.

For a more sophisticated and modern feel, a charger with textured fabric like the ESR Lounge Stand will spruce up your space while juicing up your phone. Even though it limits you to 5Wcharging speeds, it does come with a dual coil which lets you charge in either portrait or landscape mode.
