How's your Nexus One 3G reception now?

Phil Nickinson News Tuesday, 09 February 2010

By now everyone should have seen the Google Nexus One update (called 2.1-update1) pushed out to their phones. (If not, you can always update manually.) Aside from pinch-to-zoom being turned on in a handful of apps, the update contained a fix for the apparent problems the phone was having keeping a 3G connection on T-Mobile.

T-Mobile Drops Price of myTouch 3G to $99.99, Better Off Waiting For myTouch 1.2

Casey Chan News Tuesday, 09 February 2010

If you're in the market for a myTouch 3G, our advice would be to wait until the myTouch 3G 1.2 becomes official and then decide which one to buy. Even though T-Mobile is going to drop the price of the original myTouch 3G to $99.99 on February 10th, the myTouch 3G 1.2 might be a better option in the long run.

And yet another weak punch at Verizon by its old nemesis, AT&T

Phil Nickinson News Thursday, 28 January 2010

Seriously, AT&T, it's time to give it a rest. You're getting as bad as Apple with these "facts." Woman looks at a Motorola Droid and says, "What is this?" Why, it's the Motorola Droid. It's what's propelling Android's numbers month after month. "Where are all my apps?"...

T-Mobile and Google investigating the spotty 3G coverage of the Nexus One

Jeremy Sikora News Sunday, 10 January 2010

It seems as if the Google Nexus One is having some difficulty staying connected to T-Mobile's 3G band. A countless number of new Nexus One owners are flooding Google's support forums complaining that their new device bounces back and forth from Edge to 3G on a consistant basis where their old 3G device did not show the same behavior. We've looked into this a bit further and found that

Motorola Building Module To Get Phones On Both T-Mobile & AT&T 3G

Casey Chan News Friday, 11 December 2009

Though we love T-Mobile around these parts, we have to admit that their funky 3G band (1700 MHz) makes it rather unfriendly for unlockers. You have to be careful about which device you're getting, for use on what network because 3G may not work. Sure, most people don't run into the problem but as it stands now, if you have a T-Mobile 3G capable device, it won't work on AT&T 3G and if you have an AT&T 3G device, it won't work with T-Mobile 3G. Motorola is looking to...

Albany, GAAmarillo, TXAbilene, TX
