Droid 2 Global

At this point we're starting to wonder if Verizon is even really going to bother with giving the Droid 2 Global an official announcement. The device is already available for pre order on the Verizon website along with the Droid Pro, yet Motorola is the one doing the introducing the device to the world via a new video. Rather weird if you ask us, but surely at some point Verizon will make some sort of announcement. While we wait, hit the video after the break for some Droid 2 Global goodness. [via DroidLife]

If the Droid2 and the Droid2 global are basically the same phone except that it now has international coverage, why even offer the D2 standard? If the pricing is the same, it seems pointless not to make all new phones have the capabilty to be a global phone.

Wait...Motorola doesn't deem the HTC Droid Incredible as part of the "most powerful droid family"? I guess Motorola is trying to inadvertently mock HTC. Also, isn't the HTC Incredible "more powerful" than the Motorola Droid Pro, anyways?

I can say much about cpu performance, but GPU performance of the D2, which has the same cpu as the Pro, is better than the Adreno 200 in first gen Snapdragon devices.
