All three models of the handset — including the variant with 4GB RAM — will be made available, with France the first country in the region to receive the Zenfone 2.
The entry-level ZE500CL — which features a 5-inch 720p display, dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2560 CPU, 2GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, microSD slot, 8MP camera, 2MP front shooter and a 2,500mAh battery — will be available in France for €179. The next model in the lineup, the ZE550ML, offers a 5.5-inch 720p display, quad-core 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z3560 CPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage along with dual-SIM connectivity, microSD card slot, 13MP camera, 5MP front camera and a 3,000mAh battery for €249.
The variant with 4GB RAM (ZE551ML) will also be made available in the country for €349, although ASUS is running a deal that allows customers to get the handset for just €299. Specs include a 5.5-inch full-HD display, 4GB RAM, quad-core 2.3GHz Atom Z3580 CPU, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, microSD slot, 13MP camera with dual-LED flash, 5MP front shooter and a 3,000mAh battery.
