ASUS is set to commence sales of a ZenFone 2 variant with 128GB storage in Taiwan from June 18, with the device said to retail for NT$11,990 ($375).
The 64GB version of the ZenFone 2 is on sale in the country for NT$9,999 ($310), leading further credence to the $375 figure.
Since making its debut in Taiwan in March, the ZenFone 2 sold over 100,000 units, and ASUS is now looking to continue the momentum with the launch of the 128GB storage variant. The same version of the device is also listed on India's Flipkart as "coming soon," although ASUS is yet to specify a launch date.
Other than the increased internal storage, the handset is identical to the 64GB model of the ZenFone 2, boasting a 5.5-inch full-HD display, quad-core 64-bit 2.3GHz Intel Atom Z3580 CPU, 4GB RAM, LTE connectivity, 13MP camera, 5MP front shooter and a 3,000mAh battery.
