T-Mobile is set to roll out the over-the-air Lollipop update for its version of the LG L3 on Tuesday, April 7, after first launching the same update via their mobile support tool.

That version of the update became available earlier this week, but now official T-Mobile rep "Des" confirmed the OTA launch for the LG G3 on his Twitter account:

People who download the update should be able to check out the new features of Android 5.0 such as its revamped notifications, its new Material Design style and more. Lollipop is already available for the LG G3 on both Sprint and AT&T.

The Lollipop update for the older LG G2 is still in the testing phase at T-Mobile, but hopefully owners of that smartphone will be able to download it in the near future.
