There's the first one, folks. The factory image for the new Nexus 9. Stay tuned for the other images for prior Nexus devices at some point.
Nexus 5 please :)

At the end of 2014
I hope not :/
Lol. But i hopefully not
I have a nexus 5 and still haven't got the update, what about you?
C'mon Google, post images for the devices we actually have! LOL
So, we'll have images for N7 by tonight!
I am the source.

Waiting for that too! Nexus 10 is still an amazing tablet. I dont see the point of needing the 9 yet.
Sweet....will be downloading to have a backup on hand
They're not gonna release them for the phones until the 6 is released

Why not?? Android is released to AOSP this morning(That means Android lolipop is released) so now google can push Factory image to any Nexus device. Dont have to wait for Nexus 6
Not fully released. Missing some telephony stuff.
It's business. They'll potentially lose $ because someone might say screw it and purchase the 5 just to have lollipop. That's almost $700 per person they lose in that scenario. I hope nexus owners get the ota soon, but OTAs normally roll out when the new nexus device is available or shortly after
I highly doubt they'll lose revenue with that scenario

Then you're wrong.
Some Nexus 5 owners are already getting OTA updates.
With all due respect. My arse. OTA never happens before factory images are posted
agreed, no chance the OTA has already been pushed.
Boy do I feel dumb. You're right, I was duped by some faked screenshots.
Lol, there's loads of them going about. Amazing how some people get their kicks

I agree that we won't see Lollipop images for the Nexus 4 and 5 until after the Nexus 6 is released, probably a week or two later. I still think we are a couple weeks out from Lollipop for the Nexus 7's.
Come on wheres the images for a nexus 7. I bet we going to be waiting till next week for it.

I saw a T-Mobile document that said they will begin selling the 6 on November 14th (I don't know where everyone got 11/3 from) but if that's the case I don't think anyone will see an update until around then. This is a MAJOR change. I THINK I read over 100,000 things are listed on the changelog
Still waiting on Braavos, Pentos, Norvos, Qohor, Lorath, Tyrosh, Lys, and Myr.
... And a partridge in a pear tree

I'm ignorant.....but can apps like the 5.0 calendar be pulled from this and posted as apk's for general use?
Calendar is a decoupled application, like all the other Google apps now. You'll get the updated version via Google Play.
Posted from my Motorola Moto G.

The 5.0 calender APK went live this morning

The Nexus 9 is 64-bit, while all of our devices are 32.
So unless they (for some strange reason) decide to deploy the flagship image of their first 64-bit phone with bits that aren't even compiled to take advantage of the new/better architecture, then the apk packaged into the 9's image wouldn't be compatible with our devices.
Eagerly waiting for Nexus 5 but agree we will have to wait a bit
My impatience is beginning to interfere with my daily life. I think this is a problem.

My sleep had been affected , I wake up and with the my alarm buzzing unattended I reach for my phone and check for lollipop

It's coming. I hope my nexus 7 (2013) gets it before my moto g but I'm starting to wonder now
Of course I wanted OTA for my N5 pushed during I/O keynote, but given that we live in the real world, I don't understand why everyone's upset that these are coming out in stages. The alternative is for Google to withhold finished images until they're all ready and release them all at once. It would be a more apple-y experience, which I think is what some people are looking for (and by the way you can buy an iphone and get that), but I appreciate that each image is released when it's ready. It's more transparent, and it gives developers more time with finished code, which is better for the whole ecosystem. If I hate stock Lollipop, I know CM is already weeks into developing the first 12 nightly.
Go beta testers!
Wait I have a Nexus 7 around here somewhere...
Wow nice! Looking forward to the Nexus 10 one so I can play with it soon!
Come on!! Nexus 7 guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please! Tonight!!??

I'm thinking of buying another 32G wifi-only N7.
I already got an iPad. I ain't paying 479 bones for the N9.
