LG Optimus Slider

The LG Optimus Slider -- codenamed Gelato -- recently popped up on a Sprint inventory screen. And now it appears there's possibly a date to go along with it. If this latest screen, sent to our sister site, CrackBerry, rings true, we could see the Optimus Slider in midnight blue and purple come Sept. 11, 2011.

And note the column on the right -- it appears the Optimus Slider could be replacing the Sprint Remarq, an old vertical sliding feature phone. Veddy interesting.

typo on sept 11 2001. other than that, are we looking at a low range android slider? or something like the O2X/G2X?

Because some of us hate typing on a screen and would rather have a physical keyboard to type on. If this is just a feature phone with a keyboard then who cares.

I think the Remarq is getting replaced by the phone below the OS. The Slider is replacing the Intercept.

That is exactly what i was going to post about. Lol.

The Intercept is what looks to be replaced, considering its on the same row as the new phone in question. The Remarq is replaced by the phone BELOW it lol.

Also interesting...The other phone the Intercept is listed as being replaced by is the Kyocera Oblique, and if you look at the top, the Zio is being replace by what looks like a Conquer 4G, which is listed as the Samsung D600 Chief on the other picture. Wonder what those will turn out to be.
