T-Mobile is now pushing Android 5.1 to the HTC One M9, bringing along some battery enhancements for the phone. Bumping up to software version 2.7.531.6, the update brings a few other noted changes as well. In addition to Android 5.1, T-Mobile makes note of this build bringing Android Anti-theft as well as Google Wallet.

Under improvements, it is noted that this update should bring some battery enhancements, and it is likely that a number of other bugs have been fixed as well. The update also brings the camera enhancements that we have seen roll out for the One M9 already, as well as the kill switch mechanism that is now required under California law.

The update is just starting to roll out, so it may be a day or two before you see it. If you want to try and install it now, head into your device's Settings, then down to About Phone and finally check for update. Already accepted the update? Be sure to let us know your findings in the comments.
