HTC One M8 Dot View

If you're rocking an unlocked or developer edition of the HTC One M8 in the United States, take a look this morning for the promised HTC EYE Experience update. Along with a bump to Android 4.4.4, this is the new firmware that adds in a number of new features in the camera application, including Split Capture and Photo Booth, new auto-selfie options, face tracking and more. Plus the camera app gets a bit of a visual refresh, making options easier to get to, and largely bringing things up to what debuted last week in the new HTC Desire EYE.

The software update brings the system to 3.28.1540.5, and it weighs in at just about 236 megabytes.

There's also an update to the HTC Dot View app, adding in new features for music playback, a new weather theme and an option to turn off dot view altogether (but still use the case if you want). You can snag that update now in Google Play.
