Though the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge were announced back at MWC, Samsung is finally putting its foot down on official availability of the new phones in the U.S.

Well yes of course the new Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are coming to the U.S., but now we know precisely when, from where, and in what colors and capacities. March 27 is the date for pre-orders in all of the U.S., with the phones officially going on sale just a handful of days later on April 10. Samsung confirms that both the S6 and S6 edge will be available in black, white and gold colors — absent are the special bright blue and green international options — and in 32, 64 and 128GB storage sizes.

Naturally each carrier will have to announce their specific pricing and availability for both online and in-store purchases, as well as which colors and capacities will be on offer, but we do have a full list of day one retailers in the U.S. T-Mobile, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and U.S. Cellular are all signed on for both the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, as are Best Buy, Amazon, Costco, Sam's Club, Target and Walmart. Popular prepaid carriers Boost Mobile, Cricket and MetroPCS will carry just the Galaxy S6.

Although you can only pre-order the phones before April 10, certain stores around the country will actually have the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge on display for you to check out before you put down your money — you can see a full list of participating retailers on Samsung's site. Keep on the lookout for individual announcements from each carrier as we get closer to the official sale date in the U.S.
