The LG G4 will go up for pre-order at Verizon on May 28, with availability in-store coming June 4.
Verizon announced that it will open up pre-orders for the LG G4 on May 28, ahead of in-store availability on June 4. Interested buyers will have the option of snagging the handset in metallic gray, black leather, or the Verizon-exclusive ceramic white.
As far as pricing is concerned, you're looking at an unlocked price of $549.99. If you opt for Verizon's Edge program, you can pick up the device at $22.91 per month for 24 months. There's no mention of what the device might cost on a 2-year contract, but we would imagine it's close to the $199 price point listed by Best Buy. And as is the case with other carriers, you'll be able to take advantage of LG's promotion that offers up a free extra battery, charger, and 32GB microSD card.
Additionally, Verizon is using the availability of the G4 to launch another LG device—the G Pad X8.3. The tablet offering packs a 1.5GHz octa-core processor, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front-facing shooter, and 16GB of expandable storage. The tablet normally costs $12.49 per month for 24 months on Verizon Edge, with an unlocked price of $299.99. However, you'll be able to pick it up for $49.99 if purchased with a G4.
