After rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop last week, Google is in the process of updating its apps with the new Material Design layout, which in the case of Gmail involves the addition of Outlook and Yahoo account support along with the visual overhaul.
Spotted by Android Police, version 5 of Gmail for Android features the ability to switch between providers by selecting the account drop down or through a simple swipe gesture. There's also a video highlighting the feature:
At this stage, we don't know whether the upcoming client will also support Exchange ActiveSync. The app itself isn't available for download yet, but we'll let you know as soon as it goes live. What do you guys think of the upcoming support for Outlook and Yahoo?
