curious as to why it was so secretive about what was being released and it lasted all of what 13 minutes total. a poster and a link would have suffice, lol...

Comineeyeaha says:

Come on, guys, it wouldn't be showboating if they just put out a poster. This is the age where everybody has to have a spectacular fireworks show for the smallest achievements.

Not to say this is small, I actually kinda dig this phone.

A brand new higher-end phone.... with 2.1? Yeesh, that doesn't give much confidence in updating and staying current. Samsung just keeps on underwhelming.

kind of disappointing this thing is getting so much publicity while at the same time the MyTouch 4G released a week ago and considered to be one of the top Android phones by most other sites hasn't even been fully reviewed here. I mean so what....Samsung, rather than give you a full touchscreen, decided to put a piece of plastic in the middle and create a second screen below it? If someone really wants a "ticker" that bad..why not just give the option to run it along the bottom of a larger screen so you have the option rather than a permanent waste of space?

Clow says:

Agreed with fred, this phone is a step down from previous galaxy s phones
