Sprint is now pushing out Android 5.1.1 to the LG G Flex 2, bringing some enhancements and factory reset protection to the device.

The update from Sprint, which is version LS996ZV6, bumps the LG G Flex 2 up to the most current version of Android; Android 5.1.1. This update brings along a number of changes to the device, one of which is the addition of Factory Reset Protection.

Unfortunately Sprint did not detail all of the changes in the update, but it is pushing out right now. As with most updates, it could take a day or two before you see it on your device.
