Ahead of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, LG announced that its latest curved screen phone, the G Flex 2, is rolling out globally. The handset will be available from major carriers in the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Germany and the U.K.initially, with other markets across Asia, North and South Americas and Europe getting access to the device in the weeks following MWC.
The G Flex 2 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display, 2GHz Snapdragon 810 CPU, 13MP camera, 2.1MP front shooter, LTE connectivity and a 3,000mAh battery. Storage variants include a 16GB model with 2GB RAM, and a 32GB version with 3GB RAM. On the software side of things, the phone features Lollipop out of the box.
The device is currently available for pre-order in the US at Sprint, and Carphone Warehouse in the UK. The device is slated to launch in Singapore on March 14. Other countries set to receive the device will announce availability in the coming weeks.
