Expansys is currently offering a pretty good deal on the 16GB WiFi variant of the Nexus 9, discounting it to $290. Given that Amazon is currently selling the same tablet for $359, and it normally retails for $399, that's a pretty steep cut.
To recap, the Nexus 9 packs an 8.9-inch 2048 x 1536 display, an NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor, 2GB of RAM, an 8MP camera on the back and 1.6MP shooter on the front, and a 6,700Ah battery. If you can live with the 16GB of storage, this isn't a bad deal at all, particularly considering the improvements made to the tablet since its launch.
In addition to the discount on the Nexus 9, Expansys is now selling both versions of the recently-announced Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 for $380 and $470, respectively. The tablet comes in either 8-inch or 9.7-inch options with an octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and an 8MP rear camera with a 2.1MP camera up front. So, if the Nexus 9 isn't quite your cup of tea and you don't mind spending a bit more, you have options.
