HTC Taiwan said last week that it would share an "unexpected surprise" on March 20, which turned out to be a limited edition model of the U Ultra with a sapphire display and 128GB storage that will retail for the equivalent of $945 in Taiwan.
A month after their global debut, HTC has launched its latest devices in India. The U Ultra will be available in the country for ₹59,990 ($900) starting March 6, and the U Play is set to retail for ₹39,990 ($600).
HTC unveiled its latest phones in a new line: the U Ultra and U Play. The two models follow a familiar dual-launch strategy, with a shared design and near-identical specs — the big differentiators being the Ultra's larger display, bigger battery.
