Announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Xperia Z4 Tablet is Sony's latest addition to its tablet lineup. Featuring a 10.1-inch 2K display, the tablet packs some high end specs inside.
The display has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 with a pixel density of 299 ppi. Inside, Sony has opted to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 clocked at 2GHz, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. There is a microSD slot which allows to add some additional storage space if needed, and can accommodate cards up to 128GB in size. Out of the box, the tablet will run Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Some of the other specs include an 8MP camera on the rear, with a 5.1MP wide angle front-facing camera. The tablet has an IP68 certification, meaning that the Xperia Z4 Tablet is both dust and water-resistant. Powering the tablet through the day is a 6,000mAh battery that Sony claims will deliver up to 17 hours of video playback per charge.
The Xperia Z4 Tablet will be available in both a Wi-Fi and LTE version, and available globally.
