Because we were all clamoring for a successor to the original Samsung Galaxy, it looks like Samsung has decided to come out with a Samsung Galaxy 2. Okay, to be fair the Galaxy was a pretty good Android device that unfortunately got swept under the rug because it never truly caught on in the States and was left behind when ...

HTC 'Incredible' rumored for Verizon

Phil Nickinson News, Rumors Friday, 18 December 2009

Engadget says it's got a source that says the HTC Incredible, one of the leaked code names unearthed in that leaked Android 2.1 ROM, is headed for Verizon. While that's not the sort of code name you'd expect just any old phone to have, let's remember that the HTC Mega on Windows Mobile was kind of a buzzkill. So maybe it's the Passion/Dragon, and...

HTC Android Codenames Found in Leaked 2.1 ROM

Casey Chan News Friday, 04 December 2009

Snuggled deep in the leaked Android 2.1 ROM are codenames of future HTC Android devices. Since HTC has been such a huge proponent for Android (since the G1 days!), it's not really surprising to see so many devices listed. If this report is true, we're probably in for some stellar Android devices in the near future (the DROID can't stay on top forever). Some of the names have...

Looks like Verizon is ramping up for some major Android releases. Along with the Droid (which we're expecting very soon), this in-the-wild photo is of the HTC Desire which clearly houses Verizon branding and runs the HTC Sense UI. We have absolutely no details to share with you but we've seen this device before in the hands of Google CEO Eric Schmidt. You can see that the...

If you're wondering what the Verizon Motorola Droid looks like, especially after the agressive ad onslaught detailing what 'Droid does', look no further. BGR has taken some high quality photos of this most anticipated Android device and to say it survives the harsh light is an obvious understatement.

Following up on the heels of their boot-up video of the Motorola Droid, BGR has just posted the first screenshots of Android 2.0 'Eclair'. And boy it's a doozy. This obviously isn't the final build of Android 2.0 but we're loving the new features it adds and the optimization (it'...

Okay, let's play a little bit of catch up. The device pictured above was first known as the Motorola Sholes, which for a little while turned into the Motorola Tao, and now looks to be named the Motorola Droid. Hmm. LG GW880 Android Phone Leaks, Uses China Mobile's Ophone

Casey Chan News Tuesday, 01 September 2009

Not this again. China Mobile has ruined another potentially good phone. The LG GW880 is LG's first Android device, and though we were once eager to see what LG was cooking with Android, the GW880 is another WiFi-less device that runs China Mobile's Ophone. Which is pretty much code for saying we'll never sniff this Android phone. Yeah, lame.

The LG GW880 specs packs a 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen with 256MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, GPS, 5MP...

Motorola Morrison Specs Leak

Casey Chan News Monday, 10 August 2009

The Motorola Morrison isn't the most popular device around Android Central, we were very disappointed in its look and felt it was targeted more towards texting teenagers than any other market. So though the Morrison will run Android (no word if it'll run Blur), Android may be simply an afterthought for most customers--they'll surely be more...
