Samsung launched Game Recorder+, a utility that allows you to record and share gameplay videos from select high-end Galaxy devices such as the Galaxy S6. Sony is now joining the action by launching a similar utility dubbed Live screen streaming for Xperia handsets.
The app allows you to broadcast your gaming sessions live on YouTube or Twitch, or save the gameplay footage to your local device. You're not limited to just streaming games either, with the utility allowing you to broadcast from any app. You can also select the video quality of your streaming sessions.
Sony mentions that the app's availability will be limited to a few territories as well as select devices. Eager to start broadcasting your screen? You need to have streaming enabled for your YouTube account, which can be done from here.
