At IFA 2015 in Berlin, Sony unveiled new devices in the Z5 series. The Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, and Xperia Z5 Premium. Running the new phones is the Snapdragon 810 processor, with 2GB of RAM in the Compact, and 3GB in the Z5 and Z5 Premium.
The regular Xperia Z5 is a 5.2-inch device with a 1080p display and 2,900mAh battery, while the Xperia Z5 Compact downsizes to a 4.6-inch 720p screen and a 2,700mAh battery. The Z5 Premium boasts a 5.5-inch 4K Ultra HD display at 3840x2160 resolution, making for a ridiculous 806 pixels per inch. It's the world's first 4K smartphone, and though you might expect that insane resolution to drain the battery, Sony still claims it can offer "up to two days" usage on the Z5 Premium, with its 3,430mAh battery.
