Redbox Instant

Fans of Redbox Instant on Android will be very happy with the new update today. Head into the Google Play Store and you'll see Redbox Instant sitting at version 1.5.1. The update to Redbox Instant adds Chromecast support!

Version 1.5.1 of Redbox Instant has added Chromecast support and includes the various bug fixes most updates throw in. The support for Chromecast is probably the most welcomed addition to Redbox Instant. You can now take your Redbox Instant content from your Android device and throw it onto the largest display in your house.

The latest update is available in the Play Store now from the link at the top of this post.

I had considered subscribing but never did due to the lack of Chromecast support. Now that excuse is gone.

I've been curious about Redbox, is it better than Netflix?

"How'd you get the beans above the frank?"

Crap movie selection just like Netflix. Just the fact that it says by Verizon makes me dislike it too. I hate Verizons branding.
