Motorola announces the Moto X Style

Motorola has announced the Moto X Style, a phone meant to be a powerful blend of performance and style. The phone features a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, and runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box.

The Moto X Style is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 1.8GHz hexa-core processor. It has 3GB for RAM, and comes in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage options, expandable with a microSD card, which is a first for the Moto X line.

The Style features a 21MP rear camera with a ƒ/2.0 aperture, capable of capturing 4K video capture and a dual CCT flash. The front-facing camera is a 5MP shooter with an 87-degree wide-angle-lens. The Style also features a front-facing flash. For battery, Motorola has gone with a 3,000mAh battery, with Motorola estimating up to 30 hours of mixed use. The Style includes a TurboPower 25 charger, for faster battery charging.

There will be a Pure Edition for the Style, available exclusively in the US from Motorola, Best Buy, and Amazon for $399. The Moto X Style will be available at some point in September, and will, of course, feature Moto Maker support.
