Backstab

After having now completed an exclusive run on the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Gameloft has made BackStab available for more devices via the Android Market. The game sets you in the 18th century on a Caribbean island where you play as Henry Blake.

“My name is Henry Blake, once a proud officer in England’s Royal Navy. Now I stand a shattered man. Betrayed, imprisoned, my fiancée taken away, I have now found my freedom– and soon I shall find my revenge.”

If you're into arcade styled fighting games with lots of places to roam and discover throughout you'll want to give BackStab a look. A list of compatible devices and video of the gameplay can be found after the break.

Gameloft releases BackStab for Android

$10 says its not available for motorola atrix, no surprise as they release practically nothing for AT&T phones.
not to mention their terrible customer service!

You're right, AT@T has horrible customer service. Come on over to Sprint and save yourself the heartache of an empty pocket and no games. Gameloft has been amazing in regards to allowing me to get available games for my E3D since a lot of the games I originally had for the E4G are not compatible. They gave me a free games plus allowed me to download a couple more. Maybe its that nasty sarcasm I saw floating around your post...

It lists the Inspire, which is an AT&T phone. So its not just avoiding the carrier altogether.

Though I'm bummed the infuse is not listed.

I'm not buying anything else from this until they fix the missing games from my account. I've probably bought most of the ones available when they've been on sale. They have the absolute worst customer service.

is there any good reason why Gameloft is too cool to put there apps on the android market?

I hear lots of rumors about their customer service, & unless I trust the developer to begin with I usually stay away from buying apps outside of the market.

They want you to have to buy it again for a new device. When you buy it from the their website, they give you 3 downloads within 6 months.

not buying any gameloft games until they are in the market where you can redownload if need be. I'm guessing they are available through itunes though...

Not having the best time with this game. have installed it twice (once from the GameLoft Store, once from direct link from Support person at Gameloft).

Does not play properly on the Galaxy Tab. Glitchy and 'clippy' (your and other characters get stuck in walls, bridges, etc) and with the worst problem i've seen with badly rendered scnes i've seen in a long long time. Fianlly gave up, mainly as i'll never be able to finish it as the Cuciba City level is just unplayable. See links for screenshots:
