It looks like unlocked Moto X (2014) users are in for a sweet treat, as Android 6.0 Marshmallow has just started to land for users via an OTA update. We've seen the update pushed out to a couple of our devices here in the U.S., and users over on our forums are reporting the same for Canada, Brazil, India and the UK.
If you have your hands on a 2014 Moto X, you should be able to start pulling the 884MB Marshmallow update down by heading to Settings>About Phone>System updates now. Keep in mind that this seems to be for the unlocked Pure Edition only. Be sure to chime in on our forums from the link below to let us know how you're enjoying the sweet treat.
Thanks, Sam, for the tip!
