Fresh off the launch of the ZMAX, ZTE is back with another giant phone, the Grand XMAX which comes in at 6-inches and is bound for Cricket priced at $199.99. It'll be available online and in store from October 10, and for your money you're getting a 1280x720 resolution display, a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 CPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot.
Rounding out the headline specs are the 8MP rear camera, 1MP front camera and 3200mAh battery with support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 1.0. On the software side the Grand XMAX runs Android 4.4 KitKat with what looks to be a decent amount of customization over the top.
So, the Grand XMAX is offering up a large smartphone experience to the more budget driven smartphone buyer. There are some preloaded apps like Peel Smart Remote, Evernote, Kindle and Kingsoft Office and as an added bonus to folks switching from T-Mobile or MetroPCS, Cricket is offering $100 bill credit.
