The Eero 6 Extender is a great way to add more coverage to your Eero 6 or Eero Pro 6 mesh but doesn't work as a standalone solution and isn't a great fit for a Wi-Fi 5 system.

The Eero Pro 6 and the Linksys MX10 Velop both offer 6,000 sq ft of coverage and plenty of speed for a gigabit connect. At $100 less, the Eero Pro 6 system makes more sense for most people.

Eero has managed to keep all Eeros compatible with one another with software updates allowing users to keep using their old Eeros even when they've added newer and faster Eeros to the mesh.

Eero has introduced a new offering aimed at internet service providers, called "Eero for service providers." The new offering will be available in the U.S. and Canada beginning this November.
