Announced in January 2015, the ASUS ZenFone Zoom was shown off at IFA 2015 in Berlin. As the name would leave you to believe, the ZenFone Zoom is all about the camera. Touted as thinnest optically-zooming smartphone on the market, the Zoom drops ten lens elements into a phone less than 12mm thick.
The 13MP Panasonic camera has 3x optical zoom, macro mode, and a "Super Resolution" mode that combines 4 shots into one 52MP image. Dedicated camera shutter and record buttons make using the Zoom camera a snap.
The phone itself sports a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 LCD Gorilla Glass 4 display, 4GB of RAM, 64 or 128GB of storage as well as a microSD slot. The Intel Atom Z3590 processor sits inside, charged up by a 3000mAh battery.
