I played with this phone in the Mall last week. It was the sweetest phone I've ever handled! It was love at first touch.

I was playing with this phone myself. It came with Android 1.5. I still haven't seen 2.0 yet. I agree with Scott. This phone is very, very sexy. I love it.

What is up with T-Mobile? Their plans got very pricey all of a sudden.

I toke my crappy Palm Pre back to Sprint yesterday and got the Samsung Moment. The Pre kept dropping calls and the signal strength kept jumping up and down erratically. I could not even walk around in my house using the phone without dropping calls, even though a tech at Sprint told me there were 4 towers within 2 miles of my house!
So far I love the Moment! I drive a route everyday and there are some dead spots along that route , but today I never once dropped a call or even experienced cutting in or out of any kind. The Samsung Moment is a great phone first and foremost with all the bells and whistles thrown in! DON'T waste your money on the Palm Pre get the Samsung Moment, you won't be sorry!!

I have been reading the reviews of this pgone and wonder if it will upgrade to android 2.0? I am considering dumping my ATT & Blackberry for this unit.I will get slammed on early termination charges so I am trying to find out more about the phone, OS and apps. How does it compare to the iPhone 3Gs. Any opinions out there.

How does it compare to the iPhone 3Gs? Watch the Verizon iDon't adds for the answer. Android is running on the CLIQ and Droid (as well as the G1, myTouch, Hero, Samsung Moment).

So everything Verizon says to slam iPhone in its ad you'll have on the CLIQ plus the extra touches Motorola added.

And don't get suckered by Apple's "there's an app for that...only on the iPhone" crap. The Android market has thousands of apps as well. In fact, some of the very same apps that are in the AppStore!

One of the nicest things about the Android OS is if there's an app that duplicates the functionality of one of Google's built-in apps, you can install it (or write your own with the FREE SDK) and *choose* which one you want to perform the action. Don't like the built in phone book app? Install PhoneBook from the market and use that. No sweat. You can't do that with the iPhone because they've already rejected anything that does something better than Apple.

You know what sucks about buying an "off contract" phone? It's when the carriers make half of their plans "promotional" plans and lock you into a contract anyway. That is what T-Mobile did to me. :|

I bought this phone yesterday, and so far have been pretty impressed with it, although I have noticed it drains the battery a lot. But otherwise it has been working great, and I am enjoying it quite a bit the little I have played around with it. Not exactly sure but maybe a keeper, The Phone's cost me $399.99 a piece at the t mobile store and with our even more plus plans we have 20 months to pay the phones off, although I am thinking it will not take us that long to pay these phones off. But so far seems like a keeper, I am coming from a Blackberry to Android, Thank You Redwolf

I would love to upgrade my G1 to the CLIQ but not at the $369.99 pricing they want. I am thinking iPhone 3GS and an upgraded network at this point in time.

ok, where do you guys get your info?
tmobile EVEN MORE PLUS NO CONTRACT PRICING for the phone is 399.
the UNLIMITED EVERYTHING plan is 79.99, LESS THAN HALF OF EVERY OTHER MAJOR CARRIER... AND NO CONTRACT!

I have a plan with t-mobile and am interested in going from my Curve to the Cliq. I have the unlimited data plan and everything. If I buy the Cliq without extending my contract how will that affect my Blackberry data plan. Will it cost extra to get the 3g unlimited data plan like I have for my Blackberry?
