Earlier this year, OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei announced that the vendor was looking to launch the OnePlus One in India in December, with country-specific invites available to consumers interested in buying the device. A teaser posted on Amazon India today indicates that the retailer will have exclusive rights to sell the handset in the country. While Amazon did not mention the device by name, the teaser corresponds to the Sandstone Black version of the OnePlus One.
At this stage, it is unclear as to how the country-specific invites would work seeing as how the device is set to go on sale soon on Amazon. As for pricing, the OnePlus One is estimated to be in the vicinity of Rs. 25,000 ($400) for the 64GB version. We'll let you know more once we receive all the details.
Indian readers, are you excited about the imminent launch of the OnePlus One? How many of you will be looking to buy the device once it launches?
