Android Central Approved - Sponsored Offer Metro by T-Mobile
How does the idea of a free phone sound? Good, right?
Free Samsung and Motorola phones when you get a new line on a qualifying plan from Metro by T-Mobile
Not everyone can afford to splash out on one of the latest flagship smartphones. With many costing upwards of $800 or even $1,000, they are simply out of budget for many people. But what if one of the best mid-range Android phones is also out of budget? Well, then you need a deal like the one being offered at Metro by T-Mobile.
Right now you can get a free phone from Metro by T-Mobile when you buy a new line on a qualifying plan. The deal includes the Samsung Galaxy A17, the Motorola Moto G Play, and the Motorola Moto G Stylus, but our pick of the lot is the Samsung Galaxy A37.
According to our team, the Galaxy A37 is "Samsung's most complete mid-range smartphone yet." It features a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and is powered by the Exynos 1480 processor. The phone also boasts a triple-camera setup and up to 45W charging.
Get all of this and more for absolutely free at Metro by T-Mobile. There are also no activation fees on the phone, which is another big win.
With a new line on a qualifying plan when you bring your number. And better still, there are absolutely no activation fees. Given that purchasing the phone outright will cost you $450, this deal makes a whole lot of sense.
We haven't reviewed the Samsung Galaxy A37 yet, but we have done a lot of work comparing it with other similar handsets so that you can make an informed buying decision. Take our comparison with the Samsung Galaxy A36 or the Google Pixel 10a. In both, the A37 wins out in a number of areas and is one of Google's best budget smartphones.
From a specs point of view, the A37 features a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, which is actually the same chip that was found on last year's Galaxy A36. There is one important difference, though: With the Galaxy A37, Samsung has switched to its own Exynos 1480 chipset. This should result in a number of performance improvements, although we can't at this stage verify those.
The Galaxy A37 is also one of the few Samsung phones to run One UI 8.5 out of the box. As a result, users will benefit from an "upgraded Photo Assist feature with object eraser, storage sharing across Galaxy devices, a customizable Quick Settings panel, updated icons, and other under-the-hood improvements."
On paper, the Galaxy A37 offers an awful lot, especially given its low to mid-range positioning. But at $450 it'll still be out of most people's reach. That's why we recommend checking out the Metro by T-Mobile deal that gives customers the Galaxy A37 5G for FREE.
