LG has commenced rollout of Android 6.0 Marshmallow to the LG G4 in its home country of South Korea. Phones with model numbers LG-F500K, LG-F500L, and LG-F500S are now receiving the update.

Along with a slew of new features, such as Doze power-saving mode, app permissions manager and more options to manage notification sounds, the update includes changes to LG's bundled apps, with Q+ and Bridge renamed to Memo Capture+ and AirDrive. LG's home market isn't the first country to get the Marshmallow update, as users in Poland have received the OTA late last month.

Now that the update is live in South Korea, it is likely other territories will start getting the Android 6.0 update over the coming weeks.
