After weeks of teasing, the open secret is no longer a secret: LG will officially unveil the LG G4 on April 28.

LG's teasing so far has focused on the camera of the LG G4, which is at least going to offer up an ƒ/1.8 lens (topping the ƒ/1.9 lens in the Samsung Galaxy S6, the continuation of the 5.5-inch QHD display and an updated LG UX 4.0. Other details are vague, but LG's using the tagline "See the great, feel the great" and evoking some very serious leather imagery here.

Will LG actually be busting out the leather, a la Motorola's Moto X (2014), or should we be expecting something more along the lines of the faux-leather-texture of older Samsung devices? Regardless, it's a marked departure from previous LG devices like the LG G3 and LG G Flex 2 that sported a faux-metal finish instead.

Regardless of what LG has in store for the back of their phones (aside from the now-traditional center-mounted power and volume buttons, camera, flash, and laser autofocus module), we'll be on hand on the 28th of April to tell you all about it.
