Acer will launch an 8-inch Android tablet in the fourth quarter of 2015 that will focus on gaming, but only a few details about the device have been revealed so far.
Acer introduced the Predator tablet during its New York City press event today, alongside its Iconia Tab 10 tablet and its new Chromebook. The Predator tablet will have a rather odd-looking triangular case design. According to Engadget, Acer reps stated the Predator tablet would have some kind of haptic feedback feature that will make it rumble when, say, you are playing a driving game and are making a quick turn. The tablet will also have four front-facing speakers that are built in its corners
Acer has yet to reveal any other details about the Predator tablet, such as pricing, the processor inside, the amount of RAM and internal storage, or any other concrete hardware details. It sounds like Acer wants to make a tablet similar to the NVIDIA Shield for hardcore gamers.
