Aardvark Exchange client for Android Confirmed

Posted on Friday, Oct 31, 2008 by Brian Hart

After a little more digging, we have a working link to sign up for the Aardvark Exchange client beta for Android. Just go here, enter your email address, then confirm for opting in. Our confidence level just went up several notches.

Thanks again goes to Stefan Frank and forum member Sherri for confirming this story. There is a glaring irony that I have an unlocked G1 but seldom use Google for my email, calendar or contacts management. Being able to hook up and sync via Exchange would be a huge plus for me. How many of you are going to sign up for the beta? Who amongst you will benefit from an Exchange client, and why? Share your thoughts!

As I was a blackberry or windows mobile user for years, access to my outlook exchange data and email has become vital. This is the program I have been waiting for on Android. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of desktop programs that will import my Outlook data to Gmail, but the lack of push email has been an annoyance. I hope to be part of the beta. Should be fun.
