We tried to include enough options to keep everyone happy, even including the "shut up about the Moto G 2015" option so you could tell us you're not interested. I'm happy that only 25 percent of the people who clicked on a post about the Moto G 2015 did so, then told us they don't want to know more about the Moto G. I'm also going to count those as "No" votes.
When you add up the no votes, you'll find a pretty even split compared to the folks who said yes, that they are considering it or are waiting for the "good" version to get back in stock. Close enough to 50-50 even. And that should surprise none of us. It also makes for the prettiest pie chart of any poll here at AC, ever. My OCD is happy.
The comments are where the real story was. Most of us who are regular readers and poll-takers here at AC have no need for a great mid-range phone. But we see the value — whether as a backup or a phone for that person in our life who isn't a smartphone nerd — and the comments reflect that well. Nobody seems to hate the moto G 2015, and most everyone was pretty positive. Maybe savdini says it best:
Don't need it. But I would recommend it.
And that tells us that Motorola has another big seller on their hands.
