Verizon announces holiday savings, kicks it all of with announcement the red Droid Incredible 2

if it really matters to you, they now offer a $20 300mb plan if u wanna downgrade, but all in all, same as at&t within 5 bucks

Don't like the fact big red hasnt announced the nexus yet? Don't like tenement for that? Just jump to sprint if you want the nexus so bad...LOSER!

Don't like the fact big red hasnt announced the nexus yet? Don't like big red for that? Just jump to sprint if you want the nexus so bad...LOSER!

Why, because they're selling it?

Am I supposed to respond to each one? Not sure how to deal with trolls that don't know how to use a computer...

Incredible 2... still the most impressive Android device out this year. None of the 4G phones live up to the billing, and I go 2 days between charging the battery on my DINC2. The 4 inch screen is the perfect smart phone screen size. And Gorilla Glass.... cant beat it.

Gorilla Glass is a crock. Almost every device I've had with Gorilla Glass has gotten scratched. But yes, the DInc 2 is a nice device.

I have been carrying my OG Droid in my pocket with my keys for 2 years, dropped it several times on tile/concrete and not a single scratch to the screen.

So they announce a red Incredible 2 for Holiday sales but they still want to sit on the Nexus

Really?

Somebody pass the popcorn. Watching the Nexa-holics go into cardiac arrest every time Verizon makes an announcement that does not include the Galaxy Nexus is becoming quite entertaining.

+1, more like every time one of the editors write anything for the site that isn't "drop everything and drive to VZW and drop all of your monies for a Galaxy Nexus now"

So to get the DINC2 in Red (for my girlfriend upgrading from original recipe DINC) does she need to be due for device upgrade, or can we just sign a new 2yr contract and still get he nice price? Tanx!

Love the red color, but my DInc has to die first. I don't see that happening anytime in the near future. I'll hold my upgrade, but thank you.

I'm right there with you. My DInc is still going strong with CM7.1 and I can't complain. My contract isn't up until January, so there's no rush for an upgrade. By then, the choices will be plentiful.

I guess they really want to sell as many phones this holiday season, before they release the Galaxy Nexus....smd ridiculous... I hope that in hindsight, after Verizon releases the Galaxy Nexus, we will be able to see why they held it back so long

I forgot who said this a while ago, but it actually makes sense VZW hasn't announced the Nexus yet. The Razr went on sale on 11-11-11, so it would stand to reason that the Nexus won't be announced for at least 14 days from then, because if they announce it inside that window, they would likely have to deal with a lot of returns of the Razr.
