Touiteur Twitter client turns 2.0, brings a slew of new features, fixes

They got rid of the 4x1 widget!! I love Touiteur, but that widget was the most helpful one for my screen. Now I have to decide between the 4x2 and 2x1...lame!

Oh, and first!

I saw the update installing this morning, but I haven't had a chance to go in to see the changes. I've been using Seesmic more lately. The recent updates to Seesmic were nice. Hopefully Touiteur's updates are just as useful.

This has been my Twitter client of choice. I am glad to see it being updated like it has, I do think this is the best one.

Now to find time to even view tweets, I cannot keep up with them all. :)

I really like this program, but I refuse to use it due to it's large size and the fact that they won't (or can't) put it on the SD card. With my N1, all of that space is too precious for a Twitter app, so I stick with TweetDeck since it's 1/3 of the size.

It's bigger than that once installed, but they reduced the size from when I originally used it, so kudos to the devs for that.

By the way, how come the article doesn't mention that advertisements were added to the free version? That's a very significant aspect to the update.

Ads were added to free version, which is why you get all premium features in the free version now. In the settings you can disable the ads, which also disables those features previously available in only the premium version
